November 2023 Newsletter

Hello, Fieldstone Park residents!

We hope you are having a wonderful November and enjoying the fall weather. We have some important updates and announcements to share with you in this newsletter, so please read on.

Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Fieldstone Park HOA will be held on Tuesday, December 7, at 7:00 pm in the Helena City Council Chambers. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow homeowners, learn about the HOA’s activities and plans, and voice your opinions and suggestions. We encourage all residents to attend and participate in this meeting. Proxies: Per the covenants, we need 10% attendance, but also be sure to send a simple text/email to someone who will be attending to be your "proxy" vote to make sure we solidly meet the attendance requirements. This "proxy" counts as being toward our 10% attendance requirement.

Proxy form here: https://forms.gle/tqDYoHWogmJnYFMy9 (Do not fill this out if you intend to attend the meeting.)

Neighborhood Decorations

With the holidays comes our annual decoration of the entraces and street signs throughout the neighborhood. If you would like to volunteer to help out with this effort please contact us at us at info@fieldstonepark.org as soon as possible so we can organize a date to get everything set up. Special thanks to Tawanna Jenkins for making new bows to go on the street signs this year!

HOA Board Positions

We are looking for more volunteers to join the HOA board and help us manage and improve our community. Being a board member is a rewarding and fulfilling experience that allows you to make a positive impact on your neighborhood. If you are interested in serving on the board, please contact us at info@fieldstonepark.org as soon as possible. We have several positions available for the next term.

Luminaries

One of our favorite traditions in Fieldstone Park is the luminaries display on Christmas Eve. This year, we are asking each household to contribute $8 to purchase the luminaries and support the HOA. Please fill out the Google Form to sign up and pay for the luminaries by December 17. We are also looking for volunteers to help with counting and separating orders. Please ask If you can spare some time and lend a hand, please let us know in the form or email us at info@fieldstonepark.org. Sign up for luminaries with this form: https://forms.gle/H89HSWmTuANo6qgA7

Santa Visits

Do you want to surprise your kids with a visit from Santa Claus? We have arranged for Santa to come to our neighborhood on Sunday 12/10/23 and deliver some gifts and cheer to our little ones. If you want to sign up for a Santa visit, please sign up by Saturday 12/9/23 to select a time slot for Santa to visit: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0E44A4AC2BA2FF2-46274365-fieldstone

Park Lighting

We are happy to announce that we have made some progress on the project of providing lighting for the park. Our President Janey has contacted Alabama Power and initiated the process of getting a postal address for the park. This is the first step towards getting electricity to the park and installing lights. We will keep you updated on the status of this project and let you know when we need your input and approval.

Neighborhood Social/Veterans Day Celebration

We would like to thank everyone who attended the neighborhood social and veterans day celebration on November 11. It was a nice event where we got to meet our neighbors and enjoy warm beverages and snacks. We also recognized and honored our veterans who live in our community and presented the prize for the best Halloween decoration contest.

We hope you enjoyed this newsletter and found it informative. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free to contact us at info@fieldstonepark.org. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the annual meeting.

Sincerely,

The Fieldstone Park HOA Board
