In 1991, developer B. J. Harris broke ground on the Fieldstone Park subdivision in Helena, Alabama. Nearly 20 years before phrases such as "green areas" and "natural buffers" were heard, Mr. Harris envisioned a place where neighbors could enjoy the natural beauty of abundant trees and greenery, and a neighborhood park complete with walking trails, playground and babbling creek. A place where people aren't just your neighbors - they are a part of your extended family! Mr. Harris greatly succeeded in carrying out his vision, and today, Fieldstone Park remains one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Shelby County, Alabama.
