Fieldstone Park Annual Luminaries on December 19th

Updated: Dec 18, 2021

Dear Neighbors,

Please join us in celebrating the holiday season by lining our neighborhood with candle luminaries!

Help us "light the way for Santa and his sleigh" on Saturday, December 19th and transform our neighborhood into a beautiful winter village!

The luminaries consist of a votive candle placed in 2-3 inches of sand inside a white paper bag. Participating families will line the street in front of their houses! The luminaries are placed 3 feet apart and everyone lights their candles at 4:45pm. We should have (weather permitting) several hours to enjoy the impressive sight. If you will not be home, but you wish to participate, a neighbor or Street Captain can set up and/or light your candles for you. Just let us know beforehand!

If you are interested in participating as a Street Captain, please contact Janey Worth - the earlier, the better.

We are requesting $7.00 per family to offset the cost of the sand, bags, and votive candles. Donations can be made by mailing or dropping off a check or cash to Janey, or by sending via Venmo to @Janey-worth or Cash App $JaneyWorth

Important information I need form you:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Phone Number

  • Email

  • Number of Kits Needed

  • Whether you prefer to pick up the kits from 317 Stonecroft Circle in advance, or if you would rather the kits be dropped off at your home by the Street Captain.

Send this to me either by text to 205-492-6493 or email to janeyandcraig@gmail.com or mail/drop off at my home - 317 Stonecroft Circle.

Sand is included in the kits, but will need to be picked up separately. Please make plans to take a buck to the sand pile located at Fieldstone Drive next to the water tank or at the park entrance beside the parking area. It takes approximately 2 solo cups per bag to set up. If anyone needs assistance, please contact me.

Best,

Janey Worth
